Due to the coronavirus pandemic, most of the regular (live) meetings in District 30 have been temporarily canceled. In order to continue having meetings without risking personal contact, many groups are setting up “virtual” on-line meetings, using video-conferencing software such as “Zoom”. For information on obtaining the Zoom client for your computer, tablet or phone, see the “On-Line Meetings” page. That page also has information about managing Zoom meetings, dealing with disruptions, and obtaining the readings commonly used at meetings.
This list shows all of the meetings known to be presently active, whether as “live” (in-person) meetings, which are shown with their location and address; Zoom meetings, which are shown with an access code (an active hyperlink, which you can click on to join the meeting) and a password; or “hybrid” meetings (both live and Zoom), which are shown with both kinds of information. Please be aware that while both the A.A. General Service Office, and the District 30 officers, are urging that everyone attending “live” meetings follow all of the relevant social-distancing guidelines, remember that every A.A. meeting is autonomous, and we have no authority to insure that all of the attendees at any meeting will be following the recommended guidelines. You will need to make your own decisions about any location you may attend. Other groups resuming meetings of any type will be announced here, as we are notified.
